“Poks! The art debate does not have to be serious! It can also be airy! Art can be anything, but even serious art can be talked about lightly and art does not have always to be understood. Come and chat about art with us!”

In the end of October at ANTI Contemporary Art Festival in Kuopio, Finland, I toured the market square goers and festival audience with Pilvi Porkola, offering popcorn and talking art. It was an intervention called Airy Talk on Art, performance-gonzo-journalism combining proper conversation with camp. During four days we chated 30 people. Results of this light research concerning the significance and function of art in society can be read from Taiteen paikka media, published by Reality Research Center and Voima Magazine.
